Spiritual Deliverance is going to organise open air concert Bangladesh Death Fest MMXXII at the capital’s Jamuna Future Park concert arena on March 25 (Friday).
Eleven extreme metal bands — Chronicles, Feral Massacre, Grimorium Verum, Homicide, Invochaos, Nethersbane, Severe Dementia, Thrash, Torture Goregrinder, Trainwreck and Warhound will perform at this concert.
Due to consecutive lockdown and restrictions, organisers had to postponed the date of this concert multiple times.
Spiritual Deliverance spokesman Hasan Morshed Jim said, though we had to change the gig date couple of times and let go our sponsors, we wanted to organise an open-air gig no matter what happens. So, we waited till things were in favour of such an open air gig.
Organisers hope that the concert will have a bigger impact as it is going to be the first large-scale extreme metal open air concert in Dhaka.
Pre-sale tokens for the concert are now available with discount. People can collect these both physically and online. Tickets will also be available at venue on the concert day. But no discount will be available at the venue, organisers said.
The gates will be open from 10 am onwards and the concert will start around 11 am on Friday.
People will be able to collect posters, t-shirts and other stuffs from different stalls at the concert.

Spiritual Deliverance first arranged Bangladesh Death Fest in 2021. With much struggle and uncertainty, the organisers launched an indoor concert last year. Though they had plans for an open air gig but the situation was not in favour due the Covid-19 virus outbreak.

Spiritual Deliverance is an event organising platform from Bangladesh. It was formed by 5 musician-organisers friend which now has a 30-member crew. Since 2015 the Spiritual Deliverance has been working to develop the country’s extreme metal and underground (UG) music scene. It has been organising concerts and promoting UG bands to spread beyond the borders, the culture of true extreme metal music in Bangladesh.
