Brishti Bishad, Kaal’s second music video launching will take place on 6th February, 6:30 pm, at Heavy Metal T-shirt outlet of the capital’s Farmgate branch.
The title track of the band’s upcoming album, Bristi Bishad has been written and composed by Himadri Bapon, the vocalist of the band. Directed by Saidy Hasan Rabby and filmed by Mostakin Hossain Chowdhury, this music video has mostly been shot on the Dhaka University campus.
The track was initially written on 14th April 2018 and the plan was to release it in April 2020. But the pandemic has ruined it all. Now, we just want our audience to listen to this track and give their feedback, says Himadri Bapon.
The title Brishti Bishad suggests it to be a melancholic monsoon tale. But what exactly the track represents, is still a surprise for the audience. The teaser has already been released on the band’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Kaal’s first official t-shirt merchandised by Heavy Metal T-shirt will also be launched at this ceremony. Fans and friends can collect the t-shirt from any Heavy Metal T-shirt outlet, after the launch.
Ali Akber Shuvo, manager of Kaal informs some of the prominent musicians including Ziaur Rahman Zia from Shironamhin, Rajeeb Ahmed Raju from Shohojia are to be present at the launching. Health and safety measures will be maintained.
Kaal is a rising band from the Dhaka University music scene, initially formed in 2017. The band’s debut track Kritoggota was released last year in January. The current lineup of the band includes- Himadri Bapon (vocal n guitar), Imran Khan (guitar n back vocals), Mahtab Dip (Bass), Mohammad Fahim (drums), Joy Goswami (guest keyboardist), Dip Dipankar (guest bassist), Ali Akber Shuvo (manager).
